Editorial Policy

This Editorial Policy explains how we research, write, and maintain the tutorials on HowToSemrush.

How our tutorials are researched

Every guide starts with hands-on work inside the Semrush platform and a careful review of Semrush’s official documentation and help center. We test the steps we describe so that what you read reflects how the tool actually behaves. Where a feature has changed recently, we say so and update the guide.

Independence from Semrush

HowToSemrush is an independent guide and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Semrush. We receive no payment, commission, or editorial direction from Semrush. Our recommendations are based on our own research and experience — if a Semrush feature has limitations, we say so honestly.

Corrections policy

We take accuracy seriously. If you spot an error, an outdated screenshot, or a step that no longer works, please tell us through our Contact page. We review every report and correct verified mistakes promptly, noting the update where it matters.

No fake experts

We do not invent authors, credentials, or testimonials. Our guides are written by real people based on real research, and we will never present AI-generated filler or fabricated expert quotes as genuine expertise.

Keeping guides current

SEO tools evolve quickly. We periodically review published tutorials and revise them when Semrush changes a feature, interface, or pricing tier.
